Word Graph of words in the german language which have Hamming-distance 1

We use a word list of the dwds (Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache) and filtered out some unwanted words. The graph consist of nodes being the words and edges between words which have a hamming-distance of 1.

Some interesting stats:

  • nodes: 182914
  • connected components: 153861
  • biggest component: 11428 ("Aal" is part of it)
  • longest word: Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher
